Ekta Kapoor talks about ‘Veere Di Wedding’ and other projects
It won’t be incorrect to say that Ekta Kapoor is going to take television by storm. But apart from her Tv stint and her most talked film ‘Veere Di Wedding…’, it’s about her new collaborations, which you simply can’t miss.
Ekta has now collaborated with the director of Bareilly Ki Barfi, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. The news is that one of the films that she will produce will be directed by Ashwini. Apart from that she will also back Imitaz Ali’s ‘Laila Majnu’ which is directed by Sajid Ali.
That’s not all! Ekta Kapoor is making a movie titled Mental Hai Kya starring Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut. Talking about the movie she Ekta said, “No one has made a film like this in India before. Rajkummar (Rao) and Kangana were always part of the script because it takes courage to let go. I wouldn’t make the film without Kangana. I like the way she owns her space and asks pertinent questions.”
Spanning across vast genres, Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring to the screen a biopic on ‘Amul Man’ Dr.VergeseKurien that she has been planning for the past 10 years.
And last but not the least, Ekta unveils about her next project Shotgun Shaadi starring Siddharth Malhotra and expresses that it is going to be her most massy film.
Girl in the City 3 wrap up shoot
Bindass’ popular web series ‘Girl in the City 3’ wraps up their shooting and the cast is quite enthralled about the show going on air.
The plot revolves around Mithla Palkar aka Meera Sehgal and Rajatt Barmecha who made us fall in love with the first two seasons of the show and the audience seems excited and impatient for the Girl in the City 3 going on air.

Yogita Bihani bags a lead role in Ekta Kapoors next
Ekta Kapoor is making a remake of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and the news is that the stunning Yogita Bihani will be a part of the remake of K3G.
Yogita Bihani who seems simply thrilled about being a part of the show says, “It’s a dream come true for me to get the role of Palak Sharma and working with Ekta Kapoor in her upcoming love saga “Dil Hi Toh Hai”.
Yogita shot to fame when she appeared with superstar Salman Khan in the promo of the upcoming show “Dus Ka Dum”. Good luck Yogita for the show.
“It is a dream come true for me. First, bagging a promo with Salman and now the czarina of Indian television, Ekta Kapoor’s show,” Yogita said in a statement.
“It could not have been bigger than this. For any newcomer, bagging Ekta’s show is the biggest platform that one can get. I am super excited and equally nervous too,” she added.
