Sony TV is all set to reintroduce its cult show Comedy Circus with a bang. Abhilash Thapliyal, who rose to fame with Entertainment Ki Raat, will now be seen on Comedy Circus. Media reports mention that Abhilash refused a Bollywood movie owing to his commitments to the show. He was offered Time to Dance starring Suraj Pancholi and Isabelle Kaif.
Dipika Singh to do a cameo in Sony’s Mere Sai
Dipika Singh, who was last seen in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum, might do a cameo in Sony TV’s drama serial Mere Sai. Dipika will essay the role of Tulsa, a lady who ends up in Shirdi mysteriously. However, the actress hasn’t yet confirmed the news yet.

Birthdays have always meant a great deal to Vibha. ‘The fondest memories of my childhood birthdays are when my mother, who was a social worker and writer, used to call slum-kids at our house and feed them puri, bhaji and kheer. It was all made by her.’ she says.
Her 50th birthday was special as well. ‘It was my 50th birthday and my children pretended that nothing is special about the day. When I reached home from work, I found my extended family from Delhi hiding in my bedroom to give me a big surprise. It was so special!’ she says.
Vibha has received a bag and a watch from her children as gifts. ‘I am looking forward to a fun-filled gateway with my kids, far away from the hustle bustle,’ she says.

Actor Abraam Pandey’s first overseas trip
Actor Abraam Pandey is currently enjoying his time off, as he holidays at Seychelles Island. The actor has been working non-stop for the last few years and decided that it was time for a break!
‘I have dedicated the last three years to my work and have been at it without a break. I have been working so hard to the extent that I had also informed my family that I needed some time to get a strong foothold in Mumbai. I have been working continuously and the one thing that I really missed was travelling. The only travel that I was doing was between my house to the sets. I have finally got some free time now and I am going to utilise that in a nice way. I am enjoying Seychelles Island. I was looking forward to this trip eagerly and I am happy that this is happening now,’ he says.
The actor has some family time planned as well. ‘After coming back from my trip, I will also visit my hometown and spend some time with my family. They have been extremely cooperative and understanding all this while. They never forced me to come and visit them,’ he says.
Abraam has featured in serials like Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot, Khichdi Returns, and Modern Naard.
Rohitash Gour: Krushna Abhishek is a spontaneous actor
Actor Rohitash Gour, who is part of Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai recently shot with actor Krushna Abhishek, who was there to promote his latest film. Talking about how Krushna was involved in the storyline of the show, Rohitash says, ‘The story sequence is like Krushna enters and start flirting with my wife. He starts to act like Angoori is his girlfriend so I go to my wife and ask her what’s going on? She says that Krushna is here to promote his film and that they were just shooting.’
Rohitash says that he had an amazing time shooting with Krushna. ‘Krushna is a very spontaneous actor. It was pleasant working with him. We never felt like we are working with an actor from outside who had just come for a promotion. He has a friendly and loving nature. His comic timing has always been loved by everyone.’
He adds, ‘I have never worked with Krushna till date but I have been following his work. I have seen him at so many awards shows. The way he transforms himself spontaneously is the best part about his acting.’
Sanjay Kohli is the king of comedy on television and surely knows how to keep the audiences glued to the screen.
Himanshu Ashok Malhotra is a wonderful host
Actor Chitrashi Rawat, who was one of the guests on Himanshu Ashok Malhotra’s talk show Share And Grow Spotlight, says she had an amazing time on the show. The actor says she knows Himanshu for a while now and was impressed with the way he conducted himself in the show. ‘It was amazing just to talk about life and all. Himanshu is a very close friend so for me, it was just chilling and laughing, like we usually do when we catch up.’
She adds, ‘He a is wonderful a host. He has this natural quality of giving space to the other person where they can speak their heart freely and I think that’s marvellous and a rare quality to have. Himanshu’s intentions behind this Share and grow spotlight are so noble because in today’s time we are so caught up with our superficial lives that we have actually forgotten that we are part of a community, that grows because of all that we share with each other.’
The actor, who rose to fame with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De! India, says her career flourished after the film. ‘Work was coming my way and I was just floating through it. It was, in fact, quite smooth. Every year I had a film release, simultaneously I was working in theatre and television as well. Quite honestly, my journey in the industry has been quite adventurous. I have met some amazing people and got to travel a lot for my work which I absolutely love.’
Ask her if she is friends with the other actors of Chak De! India and she says, ‘Yes most of them actually. There is a different bond between us that we share that can’t be explained.’
