Sahara One is an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in Mumbai. It is operated by Sahara India Pariwar, a company formed by Subrato Roy Sahara who is a managing worker and chairman of the Sahara India Pariwar.
Sahara One was launched as Sahara TV on March 28, 2000, but in April 2003, Sahara TV was renamed as Sahara Manoranjan. As to compete with other channels and attract more audience, the channel once again changed its name to Sahara One on October 10, 2004.

Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati is an Indian television series that premiered on Sahara One on January 21, 2011. The series is produced by Dheeraj Kumar of Creative Eye Limited and airs every week days at 21:30.
The story begins when Niyati and Amber fall in love and get married. They face many stormy situations but their love for each other carries them through. Then, Niyati dies, leaving Amber with their young son and daughter. Niyati and Amber’s daughter, also named Niyati, grows up and joins the police. One day, in pursuit of her duty, she gets into a conflict with the arrogant Ishwar Sharma and his dominating grandmother.
Ishwar and his grandmother make a secret plan to take revenge from Niyati. To achieve this, Ishwar offers to marry Niyati and pretends that he loves her. Convinced by his act, Niyati falls in love with him. Just before the wedding, a fire breaks out and, in trying to save Ishwar’s mother, Niyati is badly burnt. Ishwar acts like a caring lover and marries Niyati. Relieved that his daughter is in safe hands, Amber goes abroad on business. When Niyati arrives at Ishwar’s house, she realizes for the first time that she has been trapped into the marriage.
