WWE Main Event-March 25 2014

TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts

The Intercontinental Champion, Big E kicked off Main Event.  He explained that due to Christian’s concussion, he would not be wrestling.  Therefore a new number one contender would be determined for a shot at his championship belt.

Dolph Ziggler vs Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio

Sheamus was unable to beat Alberto Del Rio with ‘White Noise’.  He did escape Alberto’s cross arm breaker but missed him with the ‘Brogue Kick’.  Dolph from seemingly nowhere hit the ‘Zig Zag’ on both of his opponents and pinned Del Rio to become the number one contender.  He would go on to face Big E later in the show.  Ziggler vowed to win the Intercontinental title and Big E wished him luck.

AJ Lee joined the announcers for commentary during the next bout.

The Funkadactyls, Natalya & Emma vs Alicia Fox, Tamina, Summer Rae, Aksana & Layla

In this five minute match, the ten Divas brawled in and out of the ring.  Naomi floored the Amazonian Tamina with a flying forearm shot and followed up with a high cross body from the top rope.  However, Tamina had the last laugh when she super kicked Naomi and pinned her one, two, three.

It was announced that the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania, will now be featured on the pre-show.

Bad News Barrett appeared on the elevated podium to give the fans some bad news about how ugly they are.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Big E vs Dolph Ziggler

Big E countered the ‘Zig Zag’ with a powerslam.  Ziggler avoided the ‘Big Ending’ and drove the champion into the mat with a ‘Fame-Asser’, but he didn’t get the pin.  After staying in control, Ziggler went for a super kick but the champ scouted for it and was able to get the ‘Show Off’ into the ‘Big Ending’ and retain the title.

After the match, both men embraced.

WWE NXT-March 27 2014

Mojo Rawley vs CJ Parker

CJ walloped Rawley with a running lariat but only managed a two count.  He hit Rawley with a double knee shot in the corner and ran to the opposite corner in preparation for another attack.  However, Mojo followed and splashed him.  Seizing the opportunity, Mojo Rawley, defeated CJ Parker with the ‘Hyper Drive’.

CJ Parker threw a tantrum after the match.

Following footage of Corey Graves’ attack on Sami Zayn from last week’s NXT, Zayn is shown backstage where the doctor told him that he saw no signs of concussion, but wanted to keep watch over him.

Xavier Woods vs Tyler Breeze

Woods hit Tyler with a running kick to the face, but couldn’t put him away.  He called for the ‘Honor Roll’ but Breeze fell out of harm’s way.  Seconds later, Tyler pinned Xavier Woods after using the ‘Beauty Shot’.

Backstage, Bo Dallas told Devin that Adrian Neville has his belt.  He said that he unhooked the belt and didn’t pin him.  He said that he would be NXT champion again later in the show… “BOlieve that”.

Corey Graves vs Yoshi Tatsu

Remember when Yoshi Tatsu won the Battle Royal on the WrestleMania XXVI pre-show?  Long gone are those days.  Corey Graves made the Japanese superstar tap out to ‘Lucky 13’.

After his victory Graves said that he thought Zayn had got the message.  He told him not to be a fool and to stay down.

Charlotte vs Natalya

The daughter of Ric Flair was accompanied by Sasha Banks and WWE Diva Natalya was followed to ringside by none other than her uncle and WWE Hall of Famer Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart.  Natalya was attacked by Sasha while she had her BFF caught in the ‘Sharpshooter’.  Charlotte was disqualified.  But Natalya wasn’t satisfied.  She took hold of Banks and bent her back in the ‘Sharpshooter’ too.  When the third generation Hart let go, the BFFs left ringside.  Nattie celebrated in the ring with Bret.

Adrian Neville commented from backstage, that his upcoming match isn’t much different than his last with Dallas.  He said, although Bo is no slouch, he has momentum and he wasn’t going to let that change.

NXT Championship Match: Adrian Neville vs Bo Dallas

Bo was caught by Neville, after charging at him.  Dallas did however manage to escape his opponent’s attempt at a tornado DDT.  The NXT champion was thrown away from him but stayed alert, able to nail him with a super kick.  Adrian went up top and used the incredible ‘Red Arrow’ to put away the arrogant Bo Dallas.  As NXT went off the air Neville celebrated as medical staff checked on Dallas.

WWE Superstars-March 28 2014

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York

Summer Rae vs Emma

Emma gave Summer Rae a ‘DilEMMA’ (literally) and then catapulted into the ‘Emma Lock’.  Summer Rae, with no other choice submitted to the goofy but loveable Aussie Diva.

It was announced that R Truth and Xavier Woods would be meeting 3MB in a match later in the show.

Highlights of RAW separated the tag team match as well as the video package that announced Razor Ramon as the final entrant into the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2014.

R Truth & Xavier Woods vs Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre

The jobbers with theme music experienced more defeat… really.  McIntyre broke up Xavier’s pin on Jinder after he had been hit with a shining wizard.  The Scotsman, ceased to be any further help when Truth took him out.  Woods put Mahal away with the ‘Honor Roll’ followed by ‘Lost in the Woods’.

WWE Superstars as always showed the most important segments of RAW, closing out with the Undertaker’s confrontation with Brock Lesnar.
